Well thats not true, the SU-85 is your bread and butter when it is about fighting armor, they just need some support and micro to work (mines, at-guns if you can field some and well placed at grenades). for German users, at least the German tank is capable of backing away. And while the ramming ability is nice, and probably b.s. What the Soviets have to do in order to take out one of their tanks. That's one of the main issues I have with German armor. You're talking about using three or four different units minimum to take out a German tank. But jeez, it's not that easy actually in game. Be careful of German bombers and strafersĭoesn't it irritate you at all that you've got to micromanage Soviet units that much in order to effectively take out basically one German tank though? I mean, it's easy to sit here now and say, 'Use AT guns along with SU-85's and Conscripts or other infantry on the front lines to distract'. I'm not great at Russians either but this has helped. U can use the long range view perk on su85's also to give u longer firing distance. Keep su85's back and protect w/ inf/mg's, maybe mortars. Use molotovs on inf and don't forget hooourrah. Level up conscripts w/AT grenade that'll slow tanks down. or i suffer the entire time, losing all my troops, and barely win. its just the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥ sequence, then they get pIVs and i lose. i dont think ive been this frustrated in a game since coh1. i dont know i cant win for ♥♥♥♥ in this game and playing online is awful. i go t2 then t3 or t4, t4 lately because t34s are garbage and cant beat any german tank.
